One month ago, when I was arriving at my High School I discovered this piece of modern art at the entrance of the Lion Walk in the Alameda Park.
It was a very innovating iniciative to celebrate the International Day World Wood Day. With the slogan “Change your mood: activate the wood mood” this campaign try to raise social awareness about the importance of the trees in our life. It consisted of sharing a phothograh on Instagram with the hashtag #1foto1arbore, for each one the local goverment will plant a tree. I consider that it´s a very good way to involve and educate younger citizens about the importance of living in a green environment, respecting and caring for native species just as they take care of us.
