Santiago is a surprising town that everybody should rediscover. Most people only knows the
main squares, the old town, and highlighted buildings; however, Santiago also has many other
atracctions and spots that worth to be discover by visitors and locals.
One of this“hidden spots” that few people knows is Parque do Lago. This is one of the latest
places added to the green belt that sorrounds Santiago. Few years ago this lagoon was a
decanting pool for Cidade da Cultura works. This was a suburb area with no interest, but
thanks to a arquitectonic and landscape operation the area has been transformed in a green
park with some facilities to picnic , do workout o simply to spend leisure time.
