My favourite place for a drink is: RATIÑOS
It is located on number 4 Rúa Entrepraciñas. Ratiños is a coffee shop, where you can have a coffee or drink a beer; they do not have more drinks than those. Inside there is not much space and outside they have three pavement tables. You can also order omelette or pie (empanada) to take away. You can pay by card,

The coffee is very tasty because they use a special product from Colombia or even different flavours from the world that they change from time to time. Maria makes some delicious desserts that you can enjoy with your coffee. Maria and Luis, -the owners- are a young couple who have had the café for the last two years. They are very nice, friendly, and very polite

I went there last Friday, but I usually go two or three times a week. I recommend you visit this little corner in Santiago. I am sure you will visit it more times, and if you are in love with Spanish omelette, go there.

My favourite Café Bar: 13
My favorite bar in Santiago is, without any doubt, Café Bar 13 located at number thirteen of Santa Clara Street. This bar serves meals, including an inexpensive and healthy daily menu, where you can pay by card. There is take away, but you can´t order online.
It is like a home where you can enjoy a good conversation under a tree in its garden or inside, in a warm atmosphere created by its friendly owner, who always has good words for you.
Furthermore, you can also read one of the books they have there, attend book presentations, concerts, or even poetry recitals, for instance, when the pandemic allows us.
I usually go there at least once a week and, to be honest, even though I know when I arrive, I never know when I will leave.
